I would say highs are silky smooth and I'm mainly using 1990s and 177X Beyers.

Just wanted to say my usb connection problems seems to have resolved itself somehow which is pretty weird but maybe it was unrelated to the Magni. [shrug]

I am certainly a repeat customer. I think this is my ... sixth(?) piece of Schiit. I'm a fanboy at this point. The "back and forth" I'm mostly worried about is not having it on my desk. :)

Agreed. Considering reaching out to Schiit but it's such a random problem I'm afraid it won't be repeatable and then I'll have to deal with it going back and forth. It's not a problem as long as it just sits still which it will be doing most of the day. I don't tend to plug and unplug things...

Doesn't do it when I switch between dac and rca. Did that a lot to compare dacs. :)

Bought this directly from Schiit in 2019. It has the balanced DAC module. Everything works like day one. It will ship in the original box and packaging (even the plastic sleeve it came in because I'm a nut about saving things like that) with original power cable and manual. It's all in mint...

I was thinking by "authority" you meant more in the sense of getting more resolution or better bodied sounds or something. I don't have an issue with the volume (besides that damn knob) on the Koss box.

"Driven with more authority" is definitely something to consider.

Hmmm. I quite like the bass the way it is. Sounds pretty natural to me. Any other changes? Where'd you get your adapter, btw?
