Rank the Headphones that You Own.

Full Size/Over-Ear 1. Sennheiser HD600 - I almost never use this one but when I do...wow. 2. Shure SRH840 - Tied with the Amperior because both are very quick and balanced (to my ears). I just recently realized how much I liked neutral sound signatures with minimal reverb but I pick one of...

    Sennheiser Amperiors?

The blue Amperiors are going for $129.95 on Newegg. I grabbed a pair this morning. Should be a good replacement for my Sennheiser HD238.

[REVIEW] MEElectronics M-DUO: The Treasured IEMs Under $100

Quick update after two days: The sound has matured quite a bit. Mine did take some burn-in before it got to where it is now. It has become a great all-rounder that not only handles classical but can go straight to rap right after without skipping a beat (harhar). The woofer is tuned to only turn...

[REVIEW] MEElectronics M-DUO: The Treasured IEMs Under $100

Just got mine from Best Buy today. They had it on sale on bestbuy.com for $39.99, and I also had a $10 gift certificate for being a registered Best Buy purchaser or something. In the end, tax included came out to around $33 which isn't bad. The "15 minutes in" impression: The sound signature is...

    CAL! question

I have the CAL! as well as my office headphone and my ears barely fit in them. Haven't seen many people swapping pads on these though...

What are the best headphones for my music ($150 or less)?

Yes...but the typical Sennheiser open-back sound signature is laid back and well....kinda lifeless (lacking bass and treble). I'd say Ultrasone and Sennheiser are great complements but really can't be seen as improvements over the other. I run an HD600 and a PRO550. Neither can really do what...

Did you get the cable plugged in all the way?

What are the best headphones for my music ($150 or less)?

I'm not sure I agree with you on that suggestion. As a Pro 550 owner, I'd say that most of these genres that were listed don't play to Ultrasone's strengths, which are EDM and hip/hop & rap. Ultrasone happen to do okay with most other genres but for the $150 range, I would say the Shure SRH840...

    PRO550 owner here. I'm actually...this guy. Considering some PRO900s soon...soon....

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

How do you get these IE80s to fit? I've gone through the entire collection of tips and still haven't found one that fit my ears correctly. On the other hand, I can get the Westone UM3X to fit perfectly. Is the insertion not supposed to be deep?

Newbie Looking To Upgrade From MEE M9, Need Help

I know the M9 sound pretty well having owned it also for about 2 years. They're outlasted my first M6 which was purchased at the same time. I haven't found a true successor to the M9 sound. I'm not sure you'll find a substantial improvement under $100 though. I foresee a dynamic driver in your...
