Dear steviebee, iriverdude, thank you for the offer. Very much appreciated. I really love this place. Yes, I would buy/pay the item (does not look like the CC card address has to match since they have a form to enter an alternative shipping address) and enter your details as the Delivery...- ppxnouse

Company that ships only to a UK adress - need help.
Thank you Uncle Erik for the hotel idea. I did not know that they keep packages for you. I always thought you have to coordinate delivery time and your stay at a hotel very carefully. On the other hand I am pretty packed with travel for the next weeks and I do not think I can make it to the...- ppxnouse

D5000 on ebay in the US - price check
Dear head-fiers, I see the Denon D5000 on US ebay selling for $458,00. Is this a reasonable price for the D500 in the US or is this most likely a fudge ? The prices I can find here in the EU are much higher. Even including VAT and customs. Thank you- ppxnouse

little hp and power amp for PC recomendation wanted
So the "Glow One" seems to be one option for me, but I am a bit concerned about the bad reviews for the DAC since I would like to have 2 RCA inputs or 1RCA and a good DAC. No other headphone amps that can drive some small speaker in addition out there ?!- ppxnouse

Hi, In my office I currently use some Firestone DAC/PS/AMP combination which I really like. Anyway, I want to have some small speakers attached to my PC in addition now. So I am looking for an "all in one" "little" "not to expensive" solution for this. Full tube or at least hybrid...- ppxnouse

iTube and iPhone 3G
OK . Not 100% a headphone amp, but kind of. I will be away from home for a while. I do not want to take to much of my equipment with me, so I am thinking about getting one of these iTubes with an iPod dock and a set of small speakers. Since there is no more 12V firewire charging...- ppxnouse

iTunes and MP3, and volume settings HELP!!!
Quote: so to equalize the volume I use the "get info" settings and change some volume settings individually...does this tamper with the sound quality? Not 100% sure about that, but I assume iTunes uses a similar algorithm like mp3gain for that. It should only affect the "volume...- ppxnouse

Headphones, check. Amp, not so much.
If "just" you buy a headphone amp you will not have any surround sound vitualization for headphones like the mentioned SC or DH. SC and DH can be very useful when your intention is to better pinpoint other players/enemies.- ppxnouse

Best programmable universal remotes?
+1 for Harmony. Tried a lot of universal remotes. Including Sony's touchscreen, OneForAll Cameleon and an older Pronto. Stayed with a Harmony 885 and now got me a Harmony One. Not perfect, but the ones that suite me best.- ppxnouse

Isolation of the Monster Beats (Dr. Dre)
Currently I mainly use my E4Cs when commuting. However. I like the ability of the Beats to mute the noise filtering to communicate with the outside world when necessary without popping out my E4Cs, to answer calls and to have a build in headphone amp. I do not want to discuss the Beats...- ppxnouse
