Dethonray Dtr1 Prelude high resolution player
2.20 is the latest fw as far as I know. It was just a hunch. The very first fw was a bit imprecise in terms of volume steps, but it improved over the past months. At least to my ears.- Pizza Funghi

I have no idea what went wrong, so this is just a hunch: Make sure your update file is actually named "update" without any additional information (number, letter). "update1" or "updatexy"won't work.- Pizza Funghi

Have a read of this you might find it a bit helpful, though it's not a Dethonray/Opus#1s A/B comparison. https://audiofool.reviews/2019/07/09/dethonray-dtr1/- Pizza Funghi

I may sound like a brainless fanboy but apart from the missing case and a few minor improvements I'd like to see (folder play, battery life indicator in %, button lock)there's absolutely nothing I don't like about the D'ray. It's a simple but sexy little device with a fast and stable UI, good...- Pizza Funghi

They do, and I'm glad they do as I like that feature. And there's only a small chance that you press/hit the volume buttons unintentionally because they are so slim.- Pizza Funghi

For sure. I noticed the channel swap when I updated the firmware (from 1.45 to 2.0). I wrote a message and got a reply within 30 minutes: "...we will fixed your mentioned bugs this month. 1. channel swap. 2. cue timestamp not accurate. 3. folder playback. When the bugs been fixed, I will...- Pizza Funghi

AUDIOSENSE in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
Once you receive the T800 give them some time. Don't judge them out of the box. I've been trying to reproduce the shrillness in treble I've found when I first listened to some classical music but haven't succeeded. It's gone. I tried every possible combination(tips, DAPs, cables). It's not there...- Pizza Funghi

AUDIOSENSE in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
I didn't do much A/B comparisons as I was having a cold last week and I'm surely not the most sophisticated person when it comes to audio description (imagine Catweazle talking about electricity...) The most noticable differences are imo: instrumental separation and layering is clearly better...- Pizza Funghi

I'd like to thank you for bringing the T800 to my attention as I thought it was you and @blomman77 and @FastAndClean who first set their hands on it. A very good recommendation imo. There's not much to complain about: build quality is good, fit and comfort is excellent, easy to drive, they are...- Pizza Funghi
