I would exceedingly recommend the HD598's. The mids are lively, detailed, and just plain wonderful. Vocals and string instruments sound amazing eg. the twangy guitar at 0:45 of Springsteen's Livin' In the Future sounds so real, it sent chills through me the first time I heard it!
