I use Mac.  I've successfully updated firmware on this device a half dozen times.  It's completely effed up now.  

After a disastrous attempt at software update a few weeks back, I've not been able to fix my DX50.  Is there some place it can be sent for repairs?  It's a brick at this point. 

My DX50 is totally useless.  After attempting a software update, it is locking on the recovery system screen,  Hangs on update system.  Computer cant find it.  Sticks on this screen every time.  Tried several times.  Removed battery, tried hard reset, always comes back to this screen.  Frustrated.

Tried the latest update and now my DX50 won't run.  Starts up in a Chinese screen which flashes off again immediately, then nothing.  Tried reinstalling the update but I get a warning about not being able to read or write the update, then DX50 gets thrown off the computer.  Can't seem to hard...

Still looking for a good carrying case for Amperiors.  All the hardshell headphone cases I've ordered seem better suited to larger phones and the Amperiors just swim in them.

I have been enjoying a Sony 639, but as a Mac user (I have about eight of them in my home and photography studio) it has been a bit of a learning curve. I was wondering how others deal with the protected formats in iTunes. For instance, the Sony only seems to recognize MP3 and MP4, but not MP4...
