Well, for the thread starter: why didn't you listen them before going in and blindly purchasing seemingly a unpleasing product for you? I wouldn't call HD555 crap, they are relatively cheap headphones, so it isn't exactly fair to expect world of them. For gaming they do fine, and are above the...- Peoples

Yes, that I would have to rely solely on what I heard from Grados and translate that in some weird way how Alessandros might sound. I will test all of these phones. One day might not be enough though- Peoples

Step-up from HD595. HD650, DT880 or something else?
Yeah, I was wondering Sony SA3000 or SA5000(which seems to go way beyond my budget). Denon D2000 has gotten quite good reviews here. The last Philips headphone I've listened to, where some HP830? Can't remember precisely, they were decent for that price they had, but I think my HD595 excelled...- Peoples

Step-up from HD595. HD650, DT880 or something else?
Topic says it all. I have used Sennheiser HD595 for quite some time now, bit over two years. Now I consider buying HD650 or DT880, I am going to test them both. But I was wondering is there any other possible rivals to these two? Grados are highly priced here in europe, so they don't give the...- Peoples

removing the smell of smoke from headphones?
It is not that uncommon for car firms to remove odours from used cars with ozonization. I don't now how much they cost though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ozone#C...r_applications- Peoples

Ozonization. There should be firms that do this in your area, possibly. It removes all odours.- Peoples

Recommendations for Best headphones on the market (new and old)
Sennheiser HD650, Beyerdynamic DT880 or something else? I am coming from Sennheiser HD595 and listen mostly hard rock, metal, male vocals, jazz and such. I am going to testdrive above mentioned headphones, but is there any other models that I should give a change?- Peoples

Sennheiser HD595 Impressions Thread
HD595 are really good, but only thing that bothers me is the buildquality. Cheap feeling plastic and no real leather in the headband. Few minor things that don't really affect the sound too much. But they are the most comfortable headphones I've used. Grados are too much for me since I tend to...- Peoples

CKKIII, PIMETA, SOHA, MAX... what to build next?
Yeah, I agree, PIMETA which I have build from pretty good parts, is really good. I just wondered what would be the wisest move next, after PIMETA. Is there really any signifigant improvements from going even step further from PIMETA, keeping in mind that headphones might be DT880/HD600/HD650? Or...- Peoples
