Audio-GD NFB-2 & NFB-3 Delivery & Impression Thread
My NFB-3 arrived today (ordered January 23). Sounds great compared to the aging MSB Link DAC that I have here. I was surprised by the size and fit 'n finish: a great deal!- Palantiri7

Mac OS X Music Players - alternatives to iTunes
I just wanted to thank everyone for this thread. I've settled for Decibel which I think sounds more "organic" than iTunes on my system. MacPro optical-->Audio-gd NFB-3-->Purity Audio KICAS/Little Dot II-->HD650/K701- Palantiri7

HTC Desire HD or iPhone 4?
Umm, if a good camera is important then the Nokia N8 is worth a look. I bought it and it is a superb phone. However, the Symbian OS isn't everybody's cup of tea although you can tweak it quite a bit if you're into that. The Ovi Store is shamed by Apple's App Store experience though. Last but not...- Palantiri7

What Apps Do You Use? (OS X)
I use MS Word in preference to Pages mainly because the integration of Pages with Endnote was not possible until recently. Word, however, has citation manager functions built-in. Also, Pages requires that MS Word documents from Windows users go through an import/export process, which is a hassle...- Palantiri7

Um, I thought Quicksilver would have become redundant with Leopard's new Spotlight being able to launch apps by typing a few letters. Guess not!- Palantiri7

What Apps Do You Use? (OS X)
Apps not already mentioned that I use, and those worthy of a repeat: Omniweb: best browser for any OS. Amadeus Pro: For recording LPs at 24/96, sound editing, track conversions. Microsoft Expression Media 2: Organize, and archive my images (tons), pdfs, videos etc. Microsoft Office: iWork...- Palantiri7

REVIEW: Purity Audio K.I.C.A.S. Caliente home headphone amp - updated with comments on regular KICAS
Moving past 200 hours on the Caliente, and, boy, the bass has improved mightily; the HD 650s are pummeling my poor little eardrums. Slightly more air now. Cool.- Palantiri7
