Review by 'P.F. Jo' on item 'Etymotic Research HF5 Portable In-Ear Earphones'

These phones are great, for their value, even at retail price these are quite good.   Though I do not have past exp. with other etymotics, I could sum these as very clear, tight bass but not lacking, unless the track you're playing is. the mids are a little emphasized, but it's not too...

Hi Hybrys,   Thanks a LOT for the input, that's exactly what I was asking, lots of people in this forum says that most of the hi-end phones would require dedicated headphone amp, and I was wondering if I could use the mixer for that, and from what I understand of your post, It is more than...

Is my audio equipment any good for headphones?

Hi,   No, I meant exactly what I wrote, XtremeMusic. Which IS a X-Fi Based PCI soundcard.   Check your facts.   But regardless, what I'm interested to understand is the mixer part.   Thanks.

    Sub$100 Multi purpose Headphones (Home-Studio)

Hey,   Great, I'd like to read how do they impress you.   What's the diff between K240S to MKII?   ATM, the ATH-M50 are leading, because I read very good things on them and also in the freq charts on headroom they seem to even top the k240's.   Thanks.

Entry level phones + Entry Leven pocket amp, or just phones?

Hi, I'm trying to decide whether I like to combo a entry level pocket amp and an entry level headphones, or just buy headphones with the total sum of my budget. My three main desires from the headphones soundwise are: 1. "Drummy" Bass, Not muddy bass, or thumpy bass, frankly I dont like...
