Mild hiss with MEElectronic A151 on Surface Pro

See, now I'm starting to think this is windows 8 related. I was messing around with the artrage 4 demo and some tools make tactile noises and whatnot. I noticed that there was no more hissing at one point. Disconnect and reconnect the headphone, there is the hiss again. I'm thinking of making a...

Mild hiss with MEElectronic A151 on Surface Pro

Yeah, you are right.   I wonder if moving to a slightly higher impedance and slightly less sensitive headphone would give me a hiss free experience...

Mild hiss with MEElectronic A151 on Surface Pro

I'm getting a mild white noise hiss on the MEElectronics A151 when using the Surface Pro notebook/tablet/whaterver. It does not show up when using it on my Galaxy S2.   Now, I'm not saying there is a hiss in music but rather that, from the moment I plug it in, I can hear it. If I leave the...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Quote:   Thank you for the reply Joker, this made me think and research more into what sound signature would fit me better and I decided to play it safe and get something warm/sweet, I managed to get a MEElec A151 for U$30 on Amazon. Should be a good enough intro iem for me :)   Once...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Hi Joker, great thread!!   I was looking at getting a budget iem and you seem to be the best person to ask this, I have pretty much only used my samsung galaxy S2 headphone, as far as iems go.   I tend to listen to rock, folk, acoustic, orchestral soundtracks and a bit of electronic and...

    Ath-M50 vs Sennheiser MM 500-X

Hi there folks.   Does anyone have experience with the Sen MM500-X as compared to the Audio Technica M50? I got my M50 for about U$130 and I can probably get the MM500-X for about U$230, so if the sound quality is close enough, I'll probably go for it. I'm keen on finding a decent...

Bluetooth alternative to an ATH-M50 or should I just stick with wired?

Well, I wouldn't go for a bluetooth receiver. I was thinking of a bluetooth headphone alternative as I already have bluetooth in the pc. And it would be usable with my phone as well so that is a nice plus.

Bluetooth alternative to an ATH-M50 or should I just stick with wired?

Hi there folks. I added a TL;DR section at the bottom for those who don't want the entire story.   I'm new to Head-Fi and I did search but did not find anything that could clear this up.   I used to use a pair of Senheisers HD500 (not sure on the exact model) and they served me well...
