AEON, MrSpeakers' New Closed Back Planar Magnetic Headphone
True! Low price is always nice I'm worried though, the headband holds the drivers with just one arm. Is it metal?- osvaldo

Audeze SINE Series
Hi. I think you didn't read my post to the end. I HAD Sines, I sold them because I didn't liked them. I have LCD-2.2 and it gives me everything good that the sines did for me plus a nice thick bass. The M50X is a headphone that is cheaper and made me feel like the Sines are really not for me...- osvaldo

Be careful, I purchased the Sine because I wanted a portable LCD-2. I also have the LCD-2 and I can tell you that the Sine's are nowhere near the Sound Quality of the LCD-2. The LCD-2 is AMAZING, the Sine is not. I purchased a pair of AudioTechnica ATH-M50X for my Dad and right out...- osvaldo

I also thought so! On the other hand I agree that for the best comfort, they should be bigger. For my ears, they are not completely over-ear as I requested (it's not vesperaudio's fault as they asked me questions about the size and I agreed on the suggested one). At the end of the day, I...- osvaldo

I have both Sine and LCD-2 Pre Fazor. I have mostly tried my Sine's with 3 amps: Mojo, Woo WA7 w/ Standard PSU, and my Onkyo DP-X1 internal Amp. Although the Sine does have a characteristic Audeze sound, I really must say that the LCD-2 is ALWAYS (EVERYDAY) better in all regards. Especially...- osvaldo

Do as Jeffri said. I contacted them via Skype. Skype Name: remont-naushnikov They'll ask you weather you want leather, suede, on ear, over ear, etc. I agreed with VA for Leather around and Alcantarra on the side that touches the ear.- osvaldo

I agree! I received my Vesper Audio leather/alcantara two days ago. For me the sound is the same as the stock pads on it's best day. The issue with the stocks is it moves too much and messes up the good position. The VA Pads stick much better to the head and the confort is much better...- osvaldo

I use my Sine with a Chord Mojo and I listen on the last volume levels (from the darker blue on-wards). The Mojo has enough power to drive the Sines to ear bleeding levels :) Can anyone that owns both the Sine and the Ether Closed tell me he's personal views on the sound and comfort...- osvaldo

Exactly, I've been using my LCD-2.2 with the mojo with much higher satisfaction than, say for example my Woo Audio WA7 desktop amp which I feel a little distortion at higher levels. I EQ a little 3db bass boost around the 40Hz area and it's very nice! Yup! Not so portable...- osvaldo

Bluetooth also requires a DAC and Battery. The headphone will become more heavy and bulky. When I want portability I use my Sine with my Onkyo DP-X1. When I don't care about portability and just want SQ, I stick my mojo to the Onkyo and that's audio heaven. Even if you cannot blind test the...- osvaldo

So far I only tried the DP-X1 balanced mode with my JH Audio Angie because it comes with the cable. I didn't really found any gains in terms of quality and the extra volume wasn't really necessary for IEMs - I end up putting back the single ended cable so I could connect them to the mojo when...- osvaldo

Also, I don't know if I'm the only one, but the 10+ hours of battery life on playback is a lie for me. Maybe because I only tried it with "powerful" headphones, but I have the feeling that I can't go beyond 5-6 hours on onkyo. Standby is also weak, you have to turn it off to keep the charge...- osvaldo

It's very good. Almost as good as the mojo. The mojo is a tiny bit more clear and no doubts more powerful. Put it this way, if you want portability, DP-X1 + Sine is a hard to beat combo if you dig the warm detailed planar sound. The bass on the Sine is very detailed but not so much...- osvaldo
