received my pk1 a couple of days ago and they are terrific and worth all of the hype. so long you have a decent amp to drive them.

the sennheiser rs220 is about as good as wireless headphones get right now. As long as you stay within the confines of the transmitter. if you are looking for something more portable the UE9000's may be the way to go though I personally own the MM-550's.

Just placed the order on the PK1's. I couldn't stand not knowing what all the "OOh's & Ahh's were about with these buds.

I plan on ordering a pair of PK1's within the next week or so but have just a couple questions about them. How cheap and flimsy do they feel? How much does the sounds change when the ear cusions are used? thanks in advance.

Is there another ear-bud out there that sounds better than the Yuin PK1? It will be driven by a Fostex HP-P1 and I am interested in strictly ear-buds not iems. Thanks in advance.

I second the ah-d2000's. isolation is not there strong suit but they posses all of your listed requirements and more.

just received my chris_himself cable a couple of nights ago and I agree with all of the above. Cables build on what is already there and improve upon them.

IMHO the earpods sounds signature is more appealing to me than high fidelity TF10's. The TF10's are no doubt a superior headphone, but as of right now, not the ones I prefer to listen to. i am very interested to see how the earpods sound with different gear as they are sensitive to dac/amp...

i couldn't believe it either... and don't really like saying it. i just feel very strongly about how well apple has done with these buds.

i played these buds through my fostex hp-p1 & they sounded fantastic. Lacking resolution and soundstage but the sound signature is right for my taste. just seconds earlier i was jamming on TF10s with the Chris_Himself cable and actually preferred the earbuds. crazy but true.
