yea I owned a pair of HARX-700's and frankly the takstar's have lower specs then the jvcs they are also physically smaller

anyone else have a opinion before i Pull the trigger on the 900's ? I will be modding them the Takstars really don't look that good on paper with lower sound pressure and less range/sound stage .. they are gonna be used for gaming so I would rather have the deeper sound stage and weight isn't...

how do the pro 80's and hi2050's stack up against the JVC-HARX-900's I don't mind modding the 900's

the cheapest I could find the 671's where 115.00 shipped ( I don't shop on amazon) the 2050's look better on paper the drivers go lower and have a lower impedance rating my AMP isn't that great Fiio e6

I was looking at the takstar 2050's as well never really had a pair of open can's before I wonder how they would stand up to a fully modded HARX900 TS-617's are a bit out of my budget and the driver specs are mediocre compared to the HARX900's

anyone ? the 900's are 60.00 shipped on newegg ..

as the title states are the JVC-HARX900'S Still the goto cans for at the sub 70.00 price point or can I do better I am not afraid of modding to get what I want mostly gonna be used for music and gaming nothing anyware near hardcore

I bought some RP-HF600's a few months ago and they are starting to display the signs of a worn driver (distortion on the highs lack of bass What panasonic !buildquality) I have about 60 bucks to spend I was thinking of getting a pair of HARX 900's I owned the 700's before was wondering one have...

just FYI the 700's and the pannies use the exact same driver :)  if I don't like how the pannies sound Ill consider swapping the drivers into my broken HARX700's 

tube can't believe  me I broke my trying that :) if you make em fit lose you use a bunch of quality there sealed for a reason they are supposed to be tight 

figured I would give the pannies a shot since I know what the HAX700's sound like I won't ever buy a creative product .. for what should be obvious reasons even if its a re-badge  80 bucks is a bit outside my price bracket anyway unless they sound twice as good as the HAX700's or HTF600's

just ordered the  PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S 's they will be here fri :)  note if anyone has a set of a second hand JVC HARX-700's they would be willing to part with let me know :3

  MY HA-RX700's are dead after a year of high volume abuse so I am in the market for a new set of can's they will be used for the following   FPS Gaming (decent soundstage) nothing extreme  Some Movie/tv watching Mp3 playback    I like good thumpy bass but I HATE Distortion Gotta...
