I have unfortunately seen a ridiculous amount of beats at my school, with one silver lining being a person that had a pair of M50's on.

I just received my sr60's and I am blown away! So much fun! 

As a college student I only have the funds to buy one pair of headphones and was considering Ultrasone. Not anymore.   +52

Freshman at American University in DC here...I've actually seen an AD700, SR60, HD25 SP, and some Wesc of which I don't know. But that is far outweighed by the countless number of skullcandy here.   And unlike most of you, I intend to be a political science major

I recently bought these as an interim option until I get my hd25s  .  I would have to say that there is too much bass for my liking (although I would definitely not qualify as a basshead). Wanted a little more treble, but for such a cheap price these aren't too bad. And they are ridiculously...

I second that. I love my hd25-1 from sennheiser as a rugged, portable, closed can.

Lots and lots of iBuds as well as beats. Saw a guy with AT500 walking to class today, guy with hd25 sp (blah) and quite a few lower end sony.
