getting parts in the UK
I usually buy from Farnell (Minimum order 20GBP on credit card) or RS (No minimum order with an account). If you're buying 100GBP+ then Digikey makes sense as the pricing is lower than either Farnell or RS.- NoDigital

HD600's in UK? No longer produced?
I spoke with a RicherSounds branch to see if I could acquire for a colleague a pair of HD600's. It seems their bargin basement price (110 GBP) was a clearance price and the store manager quoted them as being end-of-line from Sennheiser. I've seen HD600's still being sold for 200+ GBP and always...- NoDigital

Music Fidelity X cans
I'm in the UK and bought an X-CanV2 recently for use on my pC and with my Cyrus CD7. I use HD580's and the result is very good. The X-Can gives a wider soundstage, richer and warmer bass and sounds much more pleasent than the headphone amp output on my Cyrus aCA7.5 Dont expect massive...- NoDigital

Short review of the classic X-Canv2 and Mg-Head DT debate
I received my X-CanV2 a couple of days ago and its been burning in. Initial sounds are really good (First can amp). Having read all the comments about the PSU I wonder if mine is different. My delivery came from "a new batch of X-Can's from China" according to the dealer and M.F. have said to me...- NoDigital

High end equalizer with HD600
I use an 8024 at home on my Cyrus setup (3xSmartPower, preamp and CD7) all feeding a pair of MonitorAudio Gold Reference 60 speakers all cabled with QED SilverSpiral Interconnects. I must say, I'm impressed with the 8024. I fed the CD7's S/PDIF output with a home made cable into the 8024 and...- NoDigital

Advice: HQ Sound card and amp
Does anyone have some suggestions on a good quality sound card and headphone amp? Having seen the review of the Audigy on TomsHardware.com when pitted agains a Terratec its left me doubtful of the Audigys sonic ability. The Terratec EWX 24/96 looks on paper to be an excellent card with impecable...- NoDigital

Power supplies for ART DIO and X-CAN v2
Belling Lee manufacture a good range of inlet and chassis filters. http://www.belling-lee.com/fmproductsidx.htm Easily available in the UK from http://rswww.com I used the SF4220 in a shielded ABS box with shielded mains cables. Works really well. The SF1010 gives reasonable antenuation...- NoDigital

Power supplies for ART DIO and X-CAN v2
What about some input mains filtration? Input IEC (Or country specific) socket with inbuilt filters are cheap (About 8 to 15 GBP) and beneficial or you can add a multi-stage chassis mount for greater filtration but at 60+ GBP... Is the X-PSU nothing more that a four output 12 transformer...- NoDigital
