Singxer SA-1 / Balanced Amplifier Fully Discrete Class A - beyond THX 888 ?!
I have ordered 2 Audio-GD products from Magnhifi with good customer service, they are a reputable company. Same experience with Audiophonics: ordered a power amp that I didn't end up liking, so I returned it with no issues.- nlwouter

Verum Audio - Exciting high performance DIY planar
The difference isn't huge. I would be happy with the perforated pads they sound more balanced and are more comfortable- nlwouter

Yeah i think it's great that the pads are so easy to swap, but after going back and forth alot in a few days i came to the conclusion that although the perforated pads sound more natural they kinda suck the life out of music compared to the original pads.- nlwouter

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread
:) i also recieved the lz a6 from EE Audio yesterday. 188 euro, and from my short impressions these are amazing. I did use spinfits because the original tips weren't as good. I'm fine with the cable and the fit is actually suprisingly nice in my smallish ears.- nlwouter

Focal Clear headphones
I owned the silvegarde s3 from norne for my clear, it was a beautiful cable that sounded very nice. I really recommend norne and if you have any questions The owner is a really nice guy that will answer all your questions.- nlwouter

I also listened to them straight out of the box and the treble was too sharp and the mids fuzzy, but this completely dissapeared. i now love the verums and new pads are on the way.- nlwouter

1 area i think the verum really beats the elex IMHO is Timbre. It just sounds so big and realistic sometimes.- nlwouter

Focal Clear headphones
I also love the hd600 and can say that the focal clear is a great step up. Regardring the hd800 it doesn't sound as good as the clear is what most people seem to agree on. I actually sold my clears because i found the headphone too bulky and heavy. So keep that in mind certainly when coming...- nlwouter

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
Interesting that you mentioned the reference 9, because someone offered a reference 10 to me for around the same money of the adi-2. Would you think the dac of the reference 9 is comparable to the adi-2 and how about the headphone out?- nlwouter

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
I am intersted in the adi-2 dac, but i am in doubt between this and the audio gd 28.38 or r28. Anyone have listened to both of them? Or is there another dac/amp i should be wary about? (I listen to both headphones and active speakers equally) Thanks in advance for any suggestions- nlwouter
