Ipod users vs non-ipod users: How many people do you see everyday with ipods?
So, what "MUCH BETTER" player do you use? In answer to your question, I see a lot of iPods & a few Sandisk players. I've seen a smattering of other players here and there as well.- nismo96

Any Zune owners out there?
There's some disheartening news floating around the techblogs right now. The Zune's sales are down 54% from last year. Also, MS is in the process of letting go of 5,000 employees. A big name on the Zune team, Cesar Menendez is among that group. LINK- nismo96

Creative Zen or Sony A829 Owners...Lossless Format Question
Another option would be to get a Zune and transcode your music to WMA Lossless. I owned a Creative Zen and I still own a Sony A726. Both of those DAPs have their pluses, but the ability to use lossless files as well having gapless playback available makes my two Zunes indispensable to me.- nismo96

**30Gb Zune? Go ahead - Switch it on!**
MS has already committed to releasing a firmware update that will address the leap year issue. There shouldn't be another occurrence of this issue for Zune users. I am not so sure that Toshiba S-series owners will have the same luck.- nismo96

Yup, I just saw that too. Good on them for taking care of the issue. This is the kind of stuff that makes me happy with MS.- nismo96

**30Gb Zune? Go ahead - Switch it on!**
"Self-repair" is an interesting way to spin this. The fact is that the internal clock will reset and start working correctly again once the leap-year is over. Nothing is actually being "fixed," any z30 owners who are still using the device in 2012 will go through this again. We all know that...- nismo96
