    Introducing CL2 Planar (Impressions Thread)

My bluetooth headset has been send back to RHA for repair (didn't work when I got it). I have heard it sounds good, but can not really speak on it. There are some comments on it in previous posts

I'm gonna on the record now, you have far better ears then me. You also seem to have well meaning intensions, so good luck with that plan.

    Introducing CL2 Planar (Impressions Thread)

I read a story about a man in Japan, he spent $100,000 dollars to buy his own telephone pole and power line so his neighbors wouldn't be on the same line, and he could enjoy his music without any noise. Seems a bit much, but its his money, and if he thinks it makes a difference to his ears who...

As far as burn in goes I view it a bit like buying a new pair of shoes. Until you work the leather a bit, and conform them to your feet you may get a blister or two. As far as cables go, well my ears are not that good, and I'm happy about that. If you can hear the difference in the way a wire...

Using the zx300 with the SE and EL-8 closed back, no burn in and I'm very impressed. The CL2's are clearly better on the balanced output, but the SE isn't bad at all.

I'm sure it's me, but I really do not get the whole cable thing. As long as it conducts current it's working. That said I have never tried listening on a high priced cable. I know of one study that used a coat hanger and monster cable in a blind AB test, the coat hanger won.

Left side seems ok, but right ear seems a bit loose. It will not fallout but it isn't as secure. If that makes any sense. I guess I have two different size ear canals

I must need a bigger size, tried the Spiral Dots and I do not get the isolation I do with the Klipsch tips. I'll give a few days to grow on me but I don't think I like them. On a side note got 200 hrs burn in on both the CL2's , and the NW-ZX300 balanced output. Both are a treat to listen to.

Thanks for this. I have been very interested in the KSE 1200, or the KSE1500 but struggling to justify the cost. Glad I went with the CL2's now

I use the large, on both the RHA double flange, and the Klispch, both seemed best for me so if mediums from RHA worked for you I would stay with that size.

I think they are good, in all aspects of sound. the isolation is very good. I couldn't get a good fit with the RHA tips. The Klispch tips fit my ears, I have to dig them out, no slip

Yes, to both. They took a little bit of work to get on as the hole is smaller, but they do fit on the CL2's

I really like the iSines too, they were my favorite IEM, but the plastic ear hooks hurt my ears and the open concept as you said was not appropriate in all situations.
