Headphones like these, cheaper the better?
Ah, those are what I'm looking for... I found some now as well. :) I will buy something next week I suppose, and it seems like what you recommended is the best, better than AKG K92, 52 and 72 even. :) Thanks!- newn

Headphones like these, cheaper the better?
Where did you find the "generic" type? I can only find DT770 pads for around 25eu, but I also don't think that they are the generic type.- newn

Headphones like these, cheaper the better?
Unfortunately I could only find them for about twice that price that deliver within EU. :/ Amazon only goes as far as the UK.- newn

Headphones like these, cheaper the better?
Wow, they look like a really high-end headphones! I was very skeptical before googling because of my experience with Superlux and its cracking and hardening leather making them unusable in a month, but these look really great! Wonder if I can use 681 velour pads on them? That would be extra...- newn

Headphones like these, cheaper the better?
That's possible. I cannot try them, so I would need some more to go on here. :) I will read further about them in a couple of hours. I was also looking at AKG K52, 72 and 92 myself. I also cannot try any of these, as the electronics shops here have the really cheap crappy gamer-based headphones...- newn

Headphones like these, cheaper the better?
Both of those go for around 135eu from what I could find. That is my last-resort kinda option, as I would prefer something else really, as I like not buying the same thing twice. Also of course 135eu is much more than I'd like to spend (I spend 40eu per month on food). I have already looked for...- newn

Headphones like these, cheaper the better?
As I wrote, I only have in-earphones. My DT990 was stolen, which I will add if I can edit the post so others won't get confused either. Sorry about that. My budget is maybe up to 100eu. Although I'd prefer to spend a lot less if possible. I have very limited about of cash and want to at least...- newn

Headphones like these, cheaper the better?
I have had Superlux HD681 and Beyerdynamic DT990 250ohm and I'm looking for something else that performs about as good and is as cheap as possible (my budget is honestly low - I'm not trying to cheap out). Superlux had good sound but they were uncomfortable as hell (the paddings especially) and...- newn

Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro - what is this edition I have?
There seems to be two editions, the 'common' one is this: http://www.gearnuts.com/images/closeup/xl/1600-DT990Pro_detail1.jpg And the one I have is this: http://medias.audiofanzine.com/images/normal/beyerdynamic-dt-990-pro-487544.jpg How is my edition different? Mostly I see the first...- newn

Which amp (or soundcard) for DT990?
I don't mind it being stationary even, I just need it to take power from a cable so that I could keep it on 24/7. Objective2 is twice my budget though, minus shipping costs... It does look real nice, I have to admit.- newn

Which amp (or soundcard) for DT990?
Maybe within months of daily hunting on Ebay. I can't wait that long though. Also, I forgot to mention that I like neutral sound.- newn

Which amp (or soundcard) for DT990?
Oh, I forgot to add longer title: Beyerdynamics DT990 250Ohm Pro version. It supports up to 100 Ohms. Amp because it's usually better than a sound card.- newn

Which amp (or soundcard) for DT990?
Buget's around $50 (incl. shipping to Europe). I have seen really positive mentions of CMOY amps, and I found them on two sites (http://fredsamplifiers.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_16&products_id=33 and http://www.lucidlaboratories.com/shop-1/cmoy-headphone-amplifier or...- newn

Noise-calling headphones
I see then. That's too bad. I'll see if I can construct something out of some pair of my old headphones, I've plenty in a bag. Appreciate your quick replies.- newn

Noise-calling headphones
Oh, my apologies. I forgot to mention my price range. I'd prefer something below $50, if that is even possible for my requirements. At the moment I have very little understanding of noise-cancelling headphones, their prices and technologies. Edited the OP too. How did I forget that!- newn
