Denon AH-D7000
I sold my hd800 (Which i fell in love with), hf2 and pretty much all of my associated gear to get money for my Europe trip. However, I also bought a d7000 as my downgraded headphone. I found it to be the only headphone I've owned that I can still go back to happily.- myk7000

HD800. ~$1000 budget. Throw some ideas at me.
I absolutely loved my hd800s with my WA6SE. I sold the hd800 and am now selling the wa6se for financial reasons but I'd say that combination has kept me afloat for the longest during my whole headphone craze. I have also heard the hd800 on the dna sonnett and thats is another worthy combination...- myk7000

Is the HD800 overpriced?
I think they are heavily overpriced, as are high end grados, denons, and audio technicas. In fact, it makes me cringe whenever I think about the price I paid for my headphone setup. However, I do have to admit that I am enjoying these headphones more than any headphones I've ever had the...- myk7000

Sennheiser IE8 Impressions Thread
Something interesting occurred to me. Some reason I feel the IE8 has better sound quality unamped (ipod) than amped. Whenever I plug them into an amp, it seems to make the bass much more boomy and many of the frequencies blend too much. Does anyone else get this? It's kind of counter intuitive.- myk7000

Who has bought the same headphones more than once?
I usually rebuy my favorite headphones. 1. Grado SR60 (What brought me into the audiophile world) 2. Sennheiser IE8 (Probably favorite IEM... UM3X was its main competitor for me) 3. Denon AH-D2000 (My favorite headphone under the d7000/RS1 price I think) 4. Grado RS-1 (It's funny, I went...- myk7000
