Having had both higher end iems and heaphones, many headphones are fundamentally broken and the iem game is even worse. Personally I applaud animus for refusing to paint rosy pictures of a compromise within a compromise.

I don’t listen to house or edm, but b2 sounds really good with my electronic tracks. It’s not an iem for bassheads but it has ample bass quantity, and is quite textured and impactful in the bass

Bass is fantastic for a ba, extension, rumble, and impact are all there. I never felt like it was lacking as I’ve listened to them
