    The Price of DACs

    Two levels. USB powered dacs, and externally powered dacs. USB powered is ~$200USD for assembled ~$100 DIY is about as good as it gets.    Powered DACs are better. Supposedly. More expensive, spend 2 to 3 times.

    Looks Like I should be around. Not sure on bringing gear. How does it work? I dont mind other people sampling, but I would want to walk around and talk to people but not necessarily leave gear unattended.

    These things do not compare. Having an e17 as your main amp limits you some, and listening to youtube source stuff is not always great.    The Alpha dogs are a top tier planar magnetic. Competition would be HE-500, Fostex TH600/900, and so on.    The Mad Dogs are just modified T50RPs. Great...
