uelover, I think I've found some inexpensive isolation cones (Vibrapod) that I'm going to give a try.  I'm ordering them sometime today and I'll post back on the results.  I'm always willing to give something a try.

I'm curious how many people have used the D1 as a preamp for two channel listen.  I was planning on using the D1 as a DAC\Preamp connected to an Emotiva UPA-2 amplifier.   Netbook (toslink)--> D1 (rca)--> Emotiva UPA-2   Would upgrading the D1 volume pot make any difference in this setup?

Update, I received an email back from Ryan.  He told me they spray a thin layer of protective wax on the units and to use a dry cloth to wipe the wax off.  I used a microfiber cloth and was able to remove all of the protective wax.  The top looks fine now.    I'm still going through the...
