Do you mean the Vali 2 or the Valhalla 2?

I have a pair of Aperion 532 speakers on my desk. I think they are 8 ohm and 86 or 88 dB sensitivity. Would the Gjallarhorn be enough?

Currently listening with ZMF Aeolus and the Valhalla 2. I've had the headphone for a few years but just got the amp. I really like this combo!

K240 Sextett LP is an outstanding headphone IMO.

Plugged my Aeolus into the new Valhalla 2. Whoa. Although this headphone does very well with the Jot 2 and Lyr 3, I've never heard it quite like this. I don't think this is just "new toy syndrome" either.

Just got the Valhalla 2, so I took the Jot 2 and Lyr 3 off the Bifrost for now.

Valhalla 2 got here today. Set it up and plugged in my 650s...ooh I see the love for this combo. I think it will do really well with my Aeolus and probably the K240 Sextett as well. My first all-tube amp and my first impression is very nice.

I couldn’t justify spending the money on a Folkvangr. I’m sure it’s one hell of an amp though.

I just won a Valhalla 2 on the eBay. I have a Vali 2, Jot 2, and Lyr 3. Recently got a Piety too.

Even the mighty AKG K240 Sextett sounds really good with the Piety. I think it has more distortion with these at 600 ohms but I like it. Lyr 3 was my favorite amp for this. I still think Lyr 3 has better technicalities but the Piety just wants to rock out.

I was curious how the Piety would sound with my old AKG K240 Sextetts. Holy smokes! Even though they are 600 ohms I think the Piety is more than capable. It takes some ass to drive the 240s so that's saying a fair bit I think.

No work today because of the weather. So doing some cleaning and rocking out with the new Piety.

Hooked up the old K7XX and liking it too. Not as bright as I remember it sounding out of the Vali 2.

Listening now with my Aeon Closed RT. Even on low gain it seems to provide enough juice for them. For $150 this is a steal. Kinda reminds me of my first amp I started with, the Vali 2. A lot of capability and fun on the cheap.

So far I’ve only tried it with my Aeolus. Thinking it will do well with my other headphones.
