Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
Last week I had to return my B&W PX7 due to a dead left ear cup, then my Sennheiser Momentum 4 right earbud also died. I owned them both less than a year. These Bluetooth headphones are not reliable at all. I suggest you all take out a long SquareTrade policy when you buy them.- MozartMan1201

Audeze Euclid Closed-Back Planar IEM
To continue my AKG / Audeze comparison, it has been my observation after listening to both over-the-ear headsets that AKG has a much wider soundstage and Audeze narrower which, of course, will not show on any measurement equipment. Even the N5005 earbuds sound very open and wide, rivaling my...- MozartMan1201

Audeze Euclid Closed-Back Planar IEM
Thanks! Looks like no need to switch or upgrade! I'm an AKG guy anyhow. BTW I'm really intrigued by the AKG audio in the new Escalade.- MozartMan1201

My impression of HD600 vs HD800S (will better AMP/DAC change this?)
I've also auditioned the 800S extensively and compared it with AKG K812 and HD600. For large-scale orchestral and choral works I prefer the 800s for the recessed and wide soundstage like I'm sitting in the mezzanine section of a large concert hall (as opposed to K812 and HD600 putting you in the...- MozartMan1201

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
Even the best Bluetooth audio (aptX HD) is less than 50% of lossless CD quality. See the list below -- For critical audiophile listening, I use my hi-res wired desktop setup. For listening and falling asleep in bed, I use my AKG N5005 buds (pillow friendly). For casual listening while...- MozartMan1201

LG V30
HF Player is great. Only thing I don't like is no auto-rotate of screen when I want to see the full title of a track. I use my V30 with AKG N5005. Amazing sound!- MozartMan1201

AKG's New Flagship IEM - N5005
Normally I would not trust a product with a poorly written description (presumably from China)-- "Acoustune introducs AET07 and AET08 two, allegedly two eartipscan enhance the sound,... If the general random with the attached ear glue, as long as a change will be able to hear better The sound...- MozartMan1201

Focal Utopia, Sennheiser HD800S & Sennheiser HD800 - all here
The Aurium adds noticeable warmth and ambiance that I enjoy from live concerts (I go to LA Phil at Walt Disney Concert Hall several times a month.) It's a great combo with the AKG K812's wide sound stage to replicate the fabulous acoustics of the Disney Hall. I didn't know anything about...- MozartMan1201
