Well the fiio e17 might do the trick with these cans. I personally do not understand how such a small thing can drive orthodynamics, but others give quite positive feedback's on this combo.

As I am getting closer and closer to ordering the he400's I'm becoming more interested in eliminating their cons, or in other words make them comfortable. Audeze pads look great as well as their headband,  but I'm not shure the latter would fit. Anyone tried it?

Thanks for the quick response, I'm actualy pretty sceptical about the fiio's as they are portable amps, I figured a low budget full size amp like the LD or the o2 (pluged into the wall) would do a much better job.

hey!   Planning on joining the he-400 club soon, still haven't decided on an amp though... From what I've read the o2 is a good cheap match for them, right now im planning to get this amp at a very reasonable price from a guy who might sell them to me... But if this goes down the road...

I live in Israel, we don't really have this mid-fi category here except for Q701 and the new shure's, but generaly it's not a problem, thankfully god created ebay for such matters... except the only seller on ebay doesn't sell the he400 outside the us =P   The ad900 was on my wannaTry list...
