Yeah those are noise cancelling ones. Pretty sure the noise cancelling algo impacts volume. It should have an option to switch off noise cancelling. try it that way and see

True about the tips man, only propriety tips work on them. I'm super lucky that they fit my ear canals perfect and they never drop out! The cable gets stiffer over time, I just bought a new cable from sennheiser direct (seems like its a revise cable) and its so much better. really pliant.

The new SP1000M is really enticing. For not much more than a SE100, you get the full fat SP1000 SQ with better form factor. Huge step up in SQ.

I believe MQA decoding for the SR15 is just a firmware update away. Last i heard was a December release date. Maybe the AK rep dude can comment here.

In the AKConnect app you need to specify what your source (library) is and what your player (speaker) is. It defaults the player to your mobile phone. So once you connect your SR15 and mobile to your wifi network and open the app, you will see the SR15 pop up as a 'speaker' and/or 'library'. So...

FWIW the SR15 pairs really well with the Sennheiser IE800's. Mids are lush and highs are crystal clear. Bass slam is immense. Drake's God's plan at 44.1 with volume at lvl 100 made my ears ring!
