Seems like for the people with this issue it's pretty consistent that when the sample rate changes, they don't get the 'click' from the relay and can hear some of the digital distortion. Has anyone with this issue been able to fix it by re-seating the board? Wondering if it's an alignment...

Completely different presentation than Arya. I'm sure others can use proper audiophile buzzwords than I can, but the Arya V2 are my daily drivers. The Arya are all about the soundstage... I'd describe the Arya as a bubble of sound wrapped around your ears while the HE6 are a wall of sound...

This is a modder's DREAM! For every 1db of imbalance, wrap the louder driver in 3 layers of panty-hose. Problem solved 😂

Adorama sells 'used' units on it's website noting that there is a broken driver. These are useful if you have an out of warranty HE6SE with a broken driver. You can buy one of these, take off 'good' driver from the set you bought and replace the broken one on your set.

Stock cable is the same (or very similar) one that it's always come with. (The rubber-y one). Still comes with the balanced adapter too. I have a Periapt cable I bought for my Arya. Just plugged that one into the HE6SE.

lol..exactly. Not only does it not support the weight at all, it's way uglier than anything else on my desk. That includes the old yoga cork blocks I use to keep my monitor raised 😂

I received my HE6SE v2 from Adorama yesterday after they had been on a few weeks backorder. They came in different packaging than the ones I had seen before. I don't think these are a new revision, but don't know that I would be able to tell myself. Maybe there's some hope that they did...

I finally got my new Schiit last week (Jotunheim 2) after a 3.5 month wait. This was to replace my Topping A50s and while I wasn't really expecting much of a difference, I've been VERY surprised with how much better everything sounds through the Jot. GREAT job Schiiters.
