I`m waiting on a new DAC/Headamp from Apl hifi (Alex Peychev) which I think will crush my Mytek+Taurus combo

Aftermarket cables experiences with the LCD-X ?

I think I`ll go for an APL hifi DAC/Amp for my LCD-X, the Mytek and Auralic Taurus are good, but there`s better for them :)

I`m using Artemis cables Bow(all silver) Medusa (12x24 awg leads) UP-OCC silver with my LCD-Xs, it opens them up and cleans things up and makes everything more real and liquid :)

I see Anyone know where I can read some impressions of the new 2A3x4 and the 445 then?

Thank you for answering How would you compare the BA to the new 445 and the 2A3x4? I have the HD800 and the LCD-X, but I like the LCD-X best so it`ll detinitely be used the most

I`ve also read it`s a different beast than BA, but it costs only $ 50 more?

So 2A3x4 is the same as the 2A3 mkIV? I thought it had 4 output tubes and a new power supply?

What are the preferred amps for the LCD-X? I`m looking at the WA22, GS-X mk2, EC balancing Act with the new transformers, ECs new 445/2A3x4/Leviathan

Purrin: What amps are ECs newest and what`s coming? The homepage isn`t saying anything about the new 445 or anything. Where can I find more information? :)

I got the impression the px4 was the best tube before, but now? I see it still says on the EC page that there are 300B/px4 version, but here people say you now must decide on the version, 300B OR px4? The bass was also earlier the caveat for some, so now the BA has gotten it right?

Has anyone tried the new version (cinemag transformers) on the LCD-Xs? And if so, can anyone compare the impressions to other headamps?   Ragards,
