I just took the 325X dive also. Initial listen had me not liking F pad. The S and G appeal more. The included info and a reviewer says these react to breakin. After a couple days of burn in it's back on the head and some pad swapping.

When they put the G pads on and discover a prestige series is better than an HD600 you have to say something to appease the masters.

Tha I am assuming diy drivers sound different from Grados. How do they compare is the big question.
