I stopped reading after this statement: The beyerdynamic DT 880 comes in at least three different versions with different impedances: 32Ω, 250Ω, and 600Ω. The sound is identical among the different versions except for how loud they go. I've compared the 32Ω and 600Ω versions directly...

Oops, I better order one then. Many owners and reviewers prefer the 600 ohm version over the lesser impedance versions

Seems like they only sell the 250ohm version themselves? Is this correct? On amazon the 600 premium version is available most lf the times

After enjoying the V80 I bought the V90, but after 1 week one unit completely separated. I carefully glued ot back together, because I like the sound signature very much for electronic music

I have been stuck with this for many days with this issue. Finally I managed to log in using version 2.19 of the Tidal app, which offers the master quality. Afterwards i updated to the new firmware; tidal still works (fingers crossed)

Anyone here heard anything from Schiit-Europe, or Sonority as the company behind it seems? I've tried multiple times to get in contact; even found a phone number, but that is disconnected.... Might try ordering with their US site, accept the risk of additional import cost and tax....

Now for some dac plugin card to order with it...

Is a DAC in any way connected to soundstage depth an width, or are these typical aspects for which an amp will make the difference?

At least. I was so put off by the sound out of the box that i stacked it away in a closet. Picked it up again a month later and gave it another try.. after a couple of night i am really quite fond of it now.
