Are these new Z* comparable with Asus Xonar or Soundblaster X-Fi? How do they compare with the X-Fi family?

I think fb2k will definitely get you where you should be in terms of reproduction and output handling. Is there a specific reason why you are trying to circumvent it?   Anyway I have of heard of VLC being able to bypass Windows mixer.

I am currently on a Logitech G500 but the best one I actually used was my previous G518: far superior to anything I used so far. Unfortunately not fast enough for modern gaming..

In addition to the never ending discussion about the actual advantages of burning in, let's not forget that this would increase production costs that are, even in case of high end products, usually very low... This would cut profits down, wouldn't it?

I am Italian myself so this is appreciated news I wonder when they are really going to produce their products, I suspect it won't be in Milan.

I guess everything is bound to happen, maybe even a revamp of the same HD800.. As far as the rumor thing goes I believe that it is usually enterprises policy not to let voices run, but that doesn't mean that something might be cooking
