Can the 400i original's two can connections be nodded into what the new version's have?

I have a old version of the 400i and i noticed with my he400i that when i screw on the left connector while holding the gold support, the black plastic underneath the gold peace started to twist easey. does this mean that i can sever the wires if i twist it by accident? can this be fixed? Will...

I use then for traveling mostly and sometimes it gets loud at my place so i would like to use then if i can?

The 400i have a frequency response of 20hz-35khz.  If you got an amp/dac/pre-amp(NFB 15.32) with a frequency of 20hz-20khz would that mean anything else besides the head phones only reaching 20hz-20khz ?

In the manual it says to leave it operating constantly for 150 hours to ensure optimal performance, so that's 6 days and 6 hours.  Does it have to be like this, can't it be done in blocks leading up to 150 hours to get the same results?

so if I keep it on 32 bit, 194k (my default right now)  will that mess with the DAC somehow, like diable the '24-bit 192kHz DAC with Advanced Digital Filtering"?   I don't get it tho shouldn't it not work with 32 bit (my default) if i get static higher then 194khz? I feel like im missing...

Yo guys every time i try to set my NFB 15 default format from 2 channel, 32, 192000 Hz (Studio Quality) To 2 channel, 32 bit, 384000 Hz (Studio Quality) I only hear Static noise. Can anyone help with that?
