I'm wondering the same thing. Has anyone had this amp on the dt770 pro 80s yet? Would like to use the e6 with my nexus 4, and the 770s. Can the e6 push the 770s to loud volumes?

I am looking for a little portable amp to make my sonys louder.. They sound great, but do not have the ability to get that loud with my mp3 players power.. price range I am looking to keep it 100 or less.. Something small and compact.. thanks

Not sure.. I would like to keep it decent though, I wont need anything over the top. Budget, good bang for the buck.. Anything has to be better than my mp3 player power wise..

I am very pleased with the sound of my sonys, but i know i can get much more out of them.. I was looking for a decent, pretty good looking amp to run them.. I took a look at the grado ra1 amp, but it says they are intended on running headphones with 100+ ohms. I believe my mdrv6s are 70. Any...

Update.. Before i made this thread, I had my mind set on ordering the v6s. Since I havent gotten my new check card yet from the bank, I sent my aunt the link for the headphones i was looking at, so she could order them with her credit card once i decided on what i wanted.. Well today i call her...

Mainly at the house, but i will also be listening to them at school in the lunch room. Keep in mind i listen to my music loud.. They dont have to be the best at sealing out sound, but when i have them cranked up, i dont want to hear people talking.

I think i will give them a shot... One last thing, seeing as they are open air, they dont seal out sound very well? Do they get fairly loud?
