Real Tek On Board Audio - Low Sound

Thanks, I'll look into getting that. I did fix my issue though. The L and R volume settings were at 80% in the ASUS settings (they weren't on Windows though). I put them at 100% and now the sound is MUCH better.

Real Tek On Board Audio - Low Sound

I have an Asus Z77 motherboard with a Realtek ALC892 audio chip (onboard sound). I have a Dell U2412M speaker bar plugged into the audio out and I typically have my Sennheiser 598 plugged into the sound bar. I have the most recent driver for that audio chip & am running Windows 7 Home Premium...

Sound Card PCIE to use with Sennheiser 558 headphones?

I bought that stuff quite a while ago. It's all been sitting in my closet as I've been saving up for sound card and PSU. I hope the CPU chip is good though because this is the first & last desktop I'm buying. I figure laptops will be able to do everything a desktop can do down the road anyways...

Sound Card PCIE to use with Sennheiser 558 headphones?

I'm looking for a PCIE sound card (not many options from what I've seen). I can't decide between creative labs and Asus Xonar sound cards. The sound card MUST be PCIE, as my motherboard doesn't have any PCI slots. I pretty much always use my Sennheiser 558 headphones as well. Any advice would be...

Could really use some help. I can't decide between 380 or 558s. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time paying over $20 for a pair of headphones. I'm not an audiophile, just wanna use it with my PC/macbook/ipod, etc...

    Over-The-Ear Headphones - Under $60 - Amazon

I'm confused. Which 4' replacement cable are you talking about? It seems the one on Amazon is pretty good.   Also, any attachments or anything else I'm not thinking of? I want to get everything at once.

Can anyone who has or had the 558s comment on whether or not I'll need some type of adapter to plug them into an iPad or iPod?

    Over-The-Ear Headphones - Under $60 - Amazon

Thanks for the advice.   My brother has the Sennheiser 558 headphones. Do you have an opinion on them? They seem really comfortable, but I think they have a plastic band (he's asleep so not going to wake him). When I started looking for headphones, I couldn't believe the prices. I can't...

    Over-The-Ear Headphones - Under $60 - Amazon

I would prefer sound isolation because those headphones appear to be more comfortable. I will be using these for extended periods of time, with a break every two hours.   I am leaning towards Sennheiser models, but I'm still so confused because there are so many different models. I should...

    Over-The-Ear Headphones - Under $60 - Amazon

Hello,   I'm looking for recommendations for over-the-ear headphones for under $150 on Amazon (can't change title of this thread). It seems that I keep picking up headphones at Wal-Mart for around $20 that really hurt my ears. I will be using them with my PC, perhaps TV, and various mobile...
