EMU 0404 USB - really the best?
i have a question which may see duhh to some hoping for confirmation if i will be using an external amp would their be any difference in the DAC of an emu 404 usb and an emu 404 PCI? i ask since there is almost an 85$ price difference between the 2 versions i plan to use PC as source and...- magma79

the 7520 may be good may not be good im not disputing any of that.(actaully i have no views) however in my persnal opinion i would rather pay 160pounds for a Vdac than the same price for a 7520 thats the reason i didnt consider it much anyway coming back to the topic sirs vdac,ibasso...- magma79

little dot i ruled out only because i cant find any reviews on it that speak about the sound i havent ruled out the CA magic sir its only that i ha this as a last option becuase i think it stretches my budget a bit- magma79

unfortunately my headphone out doesnt double up as an optical jack as found in some lappies. so that leaves me with the little Dot DAC magic PICO and the V dac now which of these would meet my requiremnts as stated in the first post( ie complement my laid back setup) thaks you all...- magma79

live in Bombay( Mumbai) beresford zero trimmed as i said i have read the reviewshowever im specifically looking for a DAC whcih compliments the setup as ive posted earlier. need the DAC to be on the livelier/brighter side and ofcourse detailed ( kind of like a marantz CDP)- magma79
