I have just figured out what noise it picks up, same goes for the ifi Hip-Dac. I get this noise from phone signals, not WiFi. If I put the phone on flight mode no noise will get through.

It would pick up sound/disturbance occasionally, sometimes twice in a row, while walking or just sitting at home. Not sure if it’s from WiFi or phone signals. Regardless of price, this is a major flaw for my liking.

Listening through my X2HR as we speak, awaiting the chance to try the 560S once it's available at a decent shop with an easy return policy. Only way to know is to try.

No, that isn’t the same issue. The firmware update I added was pretty recent. The unit I had was sent back just last week. It’s not crackling, it’s a distinguished soundwave from picking up data. I might send a message to Earmen regarding the problem though.
