HD800 to HD650 Sound Signature Conversion + Dolby Headphone - Comment & Discuss!
One thing though... If that peak is because of the ring driver, then why do so many regular driver headphones have it too?- maarek99

[REVIEW] HiFiMAN HE-500 vs Sennheiser HD600
Quote: Agree with this. My 650's spanked the HE-500 in the mids. And now my HD800 is in a completely different league.- maarek99

The E-Mu 404 (and M-Audio Audiophile) Are Discontinued...New Products That Achieve The Same Effect?
Quote: Doesn't make sense. Creative bought out EMU ages ago. Did they even have a 0404 on sale before Creative?- maarek99

Is the Asus Xonar Essence STX and Sennheiser HD650 a good combo?
I never liked the sound of the STX with HD650. HD650 has beautiful...lush...mids. But not with the STX.- maarek99

Tinnits headphones
Sennheiser HD650 is one of the BEST headphones for people with sensitive hearing. It is a very mid-centric phone with almost no energy up top compared to some Grados. Really recommended.- maarek99

Try plugging in some Van Den Hul cables. You will immediately notice a disappearance of treble and more bass. A definite difference, but it's not really neutral.- maarek99

Pictures Of Your High End System II (Same Rules Apply)
Just got the HD800. Some pics: I just realized how beautiful the HD800 is. It's way more pretty when it's on my head than in the product descriptions. Odd.- maarek99

The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
I just bought the HD800. Sounds great. I plugged it into my Lake People G100. Makes the HD800 sing. Gonna keep the HD650 though, it's for those mellow out moments. The treble is slightly too high for my tastes but it sounds surprisingly great with lower volumes too. I think this ones a keeper...- maarek99

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Quote: If you listen to the HD800 with the same volume you can listen to the HD650, you will get hearing damage. The difference in treble levels are quite strong.- maarek99

[REVIEW] HiFiMAN HE-500 vs Sennheiser HD600
HE-500 was cavernous to me until I changed the earpads to velours which improved them a lot. Though I did sell them in the end and I really do prefer the HD650 to HE-500. HE-500 does sound a bit better than the HD650 when you immediately change but when I went back to the HD650 after one...- maarek99

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Quote: I didn't like the BCL with the HD650. Too veiled and slow. There are better and cheaper amps that synergize better. Offcourse it depends on the dac too.- maarek99
