can anyone compare these with a BA200? im thinking of getting these and there are no places I can audition a pair, I'm currently wondering if these are an upgrade?downgrade? or side grade? from a TDK BA200?

yeah but it still doesn't answer my question on sonic quality between the two, regardless how much they are.

they're only about 20 bucks apart from where i am. so the AT is a bit more expensive here.

hmm I'm pinned between the RE-400's and the ATH-CKM500...roughly close in price but im torn between the two.   can anyone compare and contrast these two pls? thanks

Personal conclusion: the stock double flanges only need getting used to, when you get used to it, it gets better, but dont wear it for about a month and the pain comes back but only a little.

actually biflanges are only uncomfy at first, after about a couple of weeks, it's either your years get used to it or it softens up.

i prefer the usual round, but i actually kinda like the BA200's flat cable, it does tangle less while still being able to be put around the ears,

Can't comment on the HF5, but in R50 and BA200 are different in a sense that the BA200 has a more warm sound with bass that's fast and extends pretty low for a BA while maintaining great detail, but little treble sparkle. R50 has a bit of a flat bass, fast. but makes up for it with better...

im betting on Senns HD 25 13 II...tho its not on the options, you could at least audition it. 

i've used the popo triple flange and they seem to isolate better ( my right ear is weirdly shaped - leaks a lot of sound),,,sound quality, if anything, a bit better...but it makes my BA200 look weird.

Just curious (if anyone can answer) as to how the Westone 2 and UM2 and UM1 compare to the TDK BA200, SQ wise without considering the pricetag.

has anyone tried using westone star tips on their BA200? im curious as to how they would sound.

I would also like how the UM3X compares to the BA200...im pretty happy with em but i wonder if they're worth the money to upgrade, since from where im from, UM3X RC is $400, and i got the BA200 for about 180... is the UM3X worth the extra $220?   I get the law of diminishing returns but, im...
