Find my comparison a few pages back.   TLDR; TH900 is worse than D7200 at just about everything except bass.

IF you get a proper seal, sound leakage is there but not very distracting. Just tested it at listening level.

If anyone is trying to decide on the D7200, think about how much the D7000 with less sub-bass rumble, mid-bass bleed, more midrange presence and treble control is worth to you.    Quite a shame they blew it on the fit and comfort this time around when they finally got the sound (IMO) right.

I don't own an Elear myself, but most people with newer pairs say that the problem has been fixed. 

I may be wrong here but the D7200 is potentially tuned similarly to a D5000/7000 with Lawton mods. From what I remember about the D5000, it had too much mid-bass. The D7000 fixed that a little, the D7100 too much and the D7200 IMO just right.     In fact, "just right" is about correct on how...

@thatonenoob Thanks, that was pretty much what I thought. Lots of mods have been done to it so I assume that's one of them. The guy did say that his shop has every part avaiable except the earcups so I'm not too worried. 

Just got a used pair yesterday. The earcups swivel 360 degrees and can lie flat on a table. Is it normal or some kind of black magic? My old D7000 definitely didn't do that.

The TEAC has a button on the front that does input switching (USB/Coax/Optical) so I think you can do that just fine. I really don't know much about ASIO outside of recording work.
