Agreed.    I've a T 90 myself. I can no longer tolerate it's peaky treble anymore. I much prefer the LCD-2 2016 treble.

Sure, the LCD-2 sucks for movies and gaming. Soundstage is very narrow. I only use it for music listening, no more than 2 hours a day at most. The wight and clamping force make it hard to use for long sessions. I much prefer the HD 598 for everything especially gaming, which is my primary mean...

^^ lol.   Both of you are OCD like myself. After done listening to mine, I place the foam between the earcups, return the headphones in the plastic bag to keep the dust out, and place the headphones on the foam plate that came with the protective carrying case. 

The Rosewood version comes treated with a special coating that it does not require polishing. So they don't come with any waxing accessories.   The FR graph does not come with the cans either. You'll have to email Audeze with your serial number and request your FR graph to be emailed to you...

My LCD-2 f (December 2015) is a tiny bit congested, sounds more like a semi-open, relative to the HD 598, which has crazy soundstage. Though they quite revealing. The vocals, in some recordings, are ever so slightly annoying. I mean just a tad forwardish to my liking. I sometimes feel an urge to...
