I'm not too concerned with the pads. Even though the HFI-580 pads were kind of rough my main issue was the depth of the cups and the super thin mesh inside them. How would the Pro 900 cups compare to D5000 cups in terms of depth?

DACs have no volume control but yes, an amp does. So your options are to either get an amp or adjust the volume from your computer. If you're still using your computer's onboard audio your headphones could benefit greatly from a better DAC. There are plenty of relatively cheap amp/DAC combos...

Do you have big ears? I do and I found M-100s uncomfortable after wearing them for an hour. I even bought the XL pads. I guess they helped a little, but it was not enough.   For portable use these are pretty good though. They are durable, fold up nicely and work just as fine without an amp.

I don't know too much about the NA market, but here in Europe 200$ would be a really tight budget for a smartphone. In that bracket Moto G seems like the only choice. I do not know how it fares in the audio department but everything else except the camera is top notch for the price when it comes...

What's the deal with MX Clears being such a pain to get? I had to order my keyboard all the way from USA to get my hands on those.

TTT2 really is some sort of holy grail of balance. How can you have about 60 characters in a game and still make it so balanced? How can you have over 100 moves per character and still have nothing broken? You can't do that. But somehow they did.

Why do people like this series so much? To me it seems like a standard JRPG. You collect a party. Grind a ton to level them up and gain abilities. Then take down enemies with that party. Except it lacks the story aspect almost completely.
