Dont find Hifiman HE500 that amazing ? recommend me some song ?
I'm also listening to Jpop and I didn't like the HE500 either. True, the reviews suggest that it should be good, but when I actually listen to it the sound was just off. Find myself liking the W3000ANV (which I'm owning) a lot more, but just my two cents.- khoi14021993

So now that we're several months out from their release, is there any objective winner in the battle between the V-Moda M-100s and Sennheiser Momentum?
I actually prefer the Sony MDR-1R over the V-Moda M-100 and Sennheiser Momentum, but it's just me. Just a heads up, there is no objectiveness in this hobby.- khoi14021993

Considering GR07 yet unsure of over-ear design...is it comfortable?
Quote: I don't think so. I have a friend who wears glasses who uses his UE TF10 all the time, and the gr07 cable looks a lot more comfortable to me compared to the TF10.- khoi14021993

Review by 'khoi14021993' on item 'Audio Technica ATH-W3000ANV'
This is my first review I've ever done on Head-Fi so please go easy on me. Setup: FLAC > Foobar2000 > Burson Audio HA-160D > ATH-W3000ANV Background: When the ATH-W3000ANV was first announced, I was very hyped for it, knowing the reputation of AT and how good the mid on their...- khoi14021993

Considering GR07 yet unsure of over-ear design...is it comfortable?
Over-the-ear IEMs are generally more comfortable compared to straight down, contrary to popular belief (not on Head-Fi). Everyone here knows that, and that's also why most TOTL models, like Westone and Shure IEMs are all worn over-the-ear.- khoi14021993

(UPDATE)New Sennheiser Momentum in various Colour? And On-Ear version? Watch the official video"
Nice move by Sennheiser. Looks like it'll come with velour pads as well, which I'm more of a fan than leather pads.- khoi14021993

The Audio Technica W3000ANV Thread
Glad to see an appreciation thread for this amazing headphone :D. I'm just in love with it's sound with my HA-160D, but I've never tried it with other amps to see how they fair with the HA-160D. Do anyone have much experience with this combination as well as other amps?- khoi14021993

Koss Pro DJ 100 - The Budget King
Quote: I guess it's the stock pads that makes the bass so bloated. The SRH440 pads change the bass completely. It's kinda hard compared to the M50 pads, yeah, but I don't find it uncomfortable. The Velour SRH940 pads looks nice, and I love velour too, but I don't think it'll fit in the...- khoi14021993

Koss Pro DJ 100 - The Budget King
New discovery: Just tried the SRH440 pads on my DJ100, and it fits as well! The new pads make it sounds much more coherent, more detailed, and better bass. It's almost a new beast now. I just love this.- khoi14021993

Koss Pro DJ 100 - The Budget King
Quote: I don't know what "doesn't reproduce treble right" means. It has basically been the matter of how much treble present for me. To my ears I find it a bit lacking, but I don't mind it at all. Quote: +1- khoi14021993

Koss Pro DJ 100 - The Budget King
Quote: Guess the DJ100 also has a mono-stereo switch, but what does it really do? FiiO E17 or JDS O2 are two that I come up with on the spur of moment, but there's really a lot of entry-level amps for Ip4s.- khoi14021993

Koss Pro DJ 100 - The Budget King
Quote: I agree that for the same kind of mid, you'd probably want to look into closed headphones instead of open-back. The A900X might come close, since I've heard a lot of hypes about its mid and soundstage, but I haven't heard it so can't really say. The driver actually look very...- khoi14021993
