Watches - another passion of ours, it seems...post your pics!
I probably will end up getting this watch sometime soon because this is a watch I like and I'm very picky and as much as I like sport watches I think this bridges the gap between the two nicely. However I was still wondering if I could get away with a nylon/NATO band with this. I love the look...- kever910

Talking about Vostok I was wondering if you guys would recommended it. I am currently n the market for an upgrade from my fossil watch. I saw this one on amazon and I liked it...- kever910

The NIKON Thread (Talk About Nikon Stuff here)
Hey I have a question to all that are following this thread: What is your opinion on the whole Megapixel Race? I have been contemplating this for a while and do not have anyone where I live to discuss it about. My personal opinion is that it is good to have and it eventually leads into...- kever910

The NIKON Thread (Talk About Nikon Stuff here)
Quote: Hmm never thought about that... I have always liked doing long exposures because I really like landscape photography but I dislike using my DSLR for that because I feel like I'm somehow damaging my sensor form keeping it on for too long. It's probably just me being paranoid but I...- kever910

Sennheiser HD 419/429/439
Quote: Ya I actually had the 428's but kept having to return them due to the cord jack kept crapping out on me. Either way they are a significant improvement. The bass is about the same but better quality IMO. I would recommend you the 439s. I did it and I don't regret it.- kever910

Sennheiser HD 419/429/439
Quote: It simply slides right in the slot. but i don't know how good an aftermarket cord would work with this, if thats what you were thinking.- kever910

Sennheiser HD 419/429/439
I love my Senn 439's they're awesome. IMO SQ is good, they're comfy, comes with 2 cables, not horribly expensive (depending where you get them), and pretty good looking. Overall I like them the only things not to like are build quality and the thin cord and really thats all.- kever910

The NIKON Thread (Talk About Nikon Stuff here)
Quote: Ya thats understandable and as the saying goes "to each his own". That the same way with DSLR's , for instance if I were to give it to anyone of my friends they would just stare at it in confusion. And also me with film, I was born during the ages of film but been with been with...- kever910

Watches - another passion of ours, it seems...post your pics!
Funny story my roommate told me today. So his teacher, one that I had last year, he saw was wearing a nice watch so he went over to him and asked him about it and he said it was a Cartier watch. Then he told him that it cost $17k. He was dumbfounded at the price. Then he said that it was not the...- kever910

The NIKON Thread (Talk About Nikon Stuff here)
Quote: Well I have always cringed at bridge/superzooms. However, Fuji is probably the one exception because I have read good things about that camera. IMO I believe that if your going to get something like a bridge camera then you might as well go up to a DSLR or Mirrorless because of the...- kever910

The NIKON Thread (Talk About Nikon Stuff here)
Quote: The Sony RX-1 with interchangable lenses is really what we need. But then theres the new Leica M camera. Full Frame, 24 MP CMOS Sensor. But then again it will cost an arm and leg. Not to mention that the Sony is not cheap by any means.- kever910

The NIKON Thread (Talk About Nikon Stuff here)
To me this is where cameras are eventually going to be heading towards. I mean for instance look at the Sony RX-1, its a full frame point and shoot for gosh sakes. This alone proves that it is possible. also I believe that they were better made back in the day too. I have an old minolta 35mm...- kever910

Headphones burn-in question
It really all depends on your headphones. My Shure SE215 sound started changing with in the first hour. However I had a bunch of Senn HD428's (now HD439) because I kept returning them and getting new headphones due to the terrible cable. Anyways I would say that they took a good 40 hours to get...- kever910

This is my Fossil Watch that I have had for 2 years I believe. Nothin special... especially compared to some that I have on this thread. But I love it, never leave without it, otherwise I'll have a mini panic attack. Anyways its nothin much but its something that I can wear on a daily basis and...- kever910

Songs that make your headphone WOOOOOW!!!
I came across the song G-Sting by SALM (Something A La Mode) on my Electronica playlist on Pandora and I feel in love with the song. Its a very interesting song with a good beat and surprising detail . It also hits every part of the frequency range with some real deep lows. Its kinda like a...
