1. Bifrost Multibit is just a great dac. That’s where it all started. 2. My Lyr 2 turned into a surprisingly good preamp with some very special Russian tubes until I upgraded to Freya+. 3. Loki Mini - finally allowed me to pull some bass out of the room and enhance some dull recordings.

Awesome links, thanks buddy! My goal is to reduce the volume from the right channel in my 2 channel music setup. I have a room imbalance that speaker positioning can’t solve and it totally throws off my sound stage center. I’ve contacted the Goldpoint makers. Will probably make a purchase.

I would sell my soul for a BALANCE CONTROL on any of the Loki models. It’s the “other” control we lost so long ago. As long as you’re making a corrective device, let’s have it fix everything.

I think a balance control makes more sense in the Loki since it’s purpose is to give us back the controls that went missing from hi-if products many years ago. Balance is one of them just like tone controls.

LOKI needs 1 big brother the size of the bifrost and it needs to control Balance as well as EQ. No confusion in that lineup: Loki Mini or Loki with Balance control and higher end internals. $150 or $400. Loki really needs to control the balance if it is to be a true solution for listeners who...
