Quote: Looking on selling the K701s anytime soon? Not unless they come up with an improved sounding K800 in the very near future.

    For Sale Sennheiser HD 650

I got a really good deal on a new pair of AKG k702s. This sale of the HD 650's, which I no longer use, will cover much of the cost of the new AKGs. I own a pair of of the AKG K701s. The wire gets caught on everything, and I like the idea of having a spare pair around with a easily replaceable...

    Your favorite composer

Quote: anner bylsma's performances of his cello suites? I may have sampled them on Amazon at some time. My favorite rendition of the Cello Suites, and I have heard many, was done by Lillian Fuchs, a violist many decades ago. They have been reissued on CD not too long ago -...

    FS Theta Pro Prime DAC

I have just upgraded to the new PS Digital Link III and wish to sell my Theta Pro Prime DAC. I am asking $350. This unit is in excellent working and physical condition - there are no scratches or dents on it. The sound from this Theta is warm, full bodied, and has more then its share of the...

    iPod and headphones

I just bought a 80GB iPod. I have a pair of the Sennheiser's HD 650 which I can plug into the iPod using an headjack adapter. Needless to say they are much better sounding then the earbuds supplied with the iPod. My question is this, if I do not touch the volume control, going from the earbuds...

    FS: Beyerdynamic DT880

I purchased a pair of Beyerdynamic DT880s from Kirosia last year. I decided I liked my Sennheiser 650's better, and the DT880s haven't been touched since the first few days I had them. Kirosia said it best - "They're in good condition, I'd say 8/10. There is a small dent on one of the earcups...

    Just ordered 650s

On my system, the HD650s are alittle more forward sounding then other Sennheisers I have used or tried. The more I use the HD650s the more I like them. I wouldn't dream of going back to the HD600s or Grados now.

Senns HD700 what do we want and what do we know

More sparkle at the top. Slightly less bass heavy sound A little less forward sounding. If that is what people want, let them buy Grados. One wire instead of two, attached to the earpieces.

Compared: Sennheiser HD650 vs. Beyerdynamic DT880

I had a new pair of HD 650s for a few weeks now. Does the sound of these headphones actually improve (change) or is it a case that ones preception of the headphones change with use, while the headphones remain the same? I do not think my headphones are changing with use but my impressions of...

Rush to upgrade "old" Headroom products?

I have a Maxed Out Home HeadRoom amp. I am in no rush to have it upgraded with the new mods, it sounds fine the way it is. Who knows, three or four years from now HeadRoom may come up with cheaper and better upgrades.
