Decent Headphones for watching movies?
DT770's will make most people's best-buy quality surround systems sound crappy. Excellent headphone for movies.- kdread

My DT770/80 Pro's died.... now what?
I have DT770's and A900's right here. You can't compare them, especially not the bass. A900 has tight, surprisingly punchy bass. But it doesn't touch the depth or presence or power of the DT770. If you love every time you hear a bass note on the DT770 you will be disappointed in the A900...- kdread

Off topic: Comfortable quality headset-mic?
I use a stereo headset-mic at work, they gave us all Logitech headsets and they are the most uncomfortable and poor sounding things. Its important that my mic picks up my voice well and this headset does the worst job too. Can anyone recommend a headset-mic that is comfy, maybe lightweight...- kdread

Canalphone or Earbud for jogging?
Whats going to stay in my ear better? Canalphone (not IEM, more like ATH-CK7 style) or earbud like Yuin PK2 or Sony E888? Jogging there will be some bouncing and I am sure the cords will bounce pulling on the headphones. I'm worried that canalphones might slip out easier because they kind...- kdread

Best of Closed Cans
A900's are amazing, you are limiting yourself by excluding them. Don't listen to the forum people, make your own conclusion.- kdread

Sealed phones and ear damage
Excessive heat and moisture around the ears can actually cause problems too, not just volume. Sealed cans and IEM's cause more than open cans, clip ons, etc.- kdread

KSC75 -- Wow.
Initial poster mentions A900's, Grado 60's and the KSC's... I have all three so I have to comment.... The KSC is amazing for the money but I still have to say that the best sounding headphone is the A900, then the Grado, then the Koss... basically you get what you pay for, even if the slope is...- kdread

Koss warranty in action.
Koss shipped my buddy brand new porta pros when he broke his - I think it took a week. The thing is, he'd had his for like 4 or 5 years, no receipt or anything! Koss is awesome.- kdread

Buying Suggestion
If you can try the headphones before you buy, do that. Grados are available most anywhere (most major cities) and Senns are super common. Sony store will have the Sony's I bet, ask the staff and usually they will let you try a pair.- kdread

Darth Beyer options
My brother opted for the 1m recable and it is way to damn short. Its impossible to use. I think the actual length we got is a little less than 1m (90ish cm) and this is from the cups to the plug, not from the splitter to the plug. I am kinda tall and it won't even reach into my coat pocket...- kdread
