If you don't ever intend on using the d-JAYS while on the move, then the sound quality is absolutely amazing for the price. However, I only listen to IEMs while commuting, and I found its durability (particularly for the cable) to be absolutely abysmal. I've had two d-JAYS lose sound on the left...

I'm split on grabbing the HotUSB1. I plan to pass it through to my other amplifier, but will having to use the 1/8" as the output degrade the sound rather than having the typical RCA/optical outs found on DACs?

Aside from some durability issues (that was promptly handled with their great customer service), I love my d-JAYS. You should give them a shot, they're definitely worth the money... it's just a shame that more Head-Fi'ers haven't tried them yet.

I pretty much share sbulack's sentiment towards these IEMs, but would like to add something else: if you're looking for isolation, you're not going to get any with the sleeves they provide. I had to spend a little extra to purchase Etymotic bi-flanges, which work like a charm on the d-JAYS.

I feel that the d-JAYS definitely exceed the e2c in terms of sound quality, but if isolation's very important for you, these may not be for you -- I can block very little sound off with these compared to the e2c.

Hate to bring this back, but has anyone (from North America) received their IEMs yet? I have yet to even receive a shipping confirmation, and now their site directs to another one of Jen's business endeavors...

I used to own the MS-1 and now have the HD-595. Rock music is definitely more "fun" to listen to on the MS-1's.

For the others that have ordered: is your order number in the 47000's? I ordered three hours after receiving the email that they were in stock, and found it peculiar that my order # was in such a high number-range.
