‘Greater good’ - ‘lesser evil’ - ‘a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do’ etc. is all very well, but why do you give release dates out in the first place? I mean this has been going on for years - literally! Broken promise after broken promise. It’s really unprofessional and disappointing...

It seems most unlikely that the main issue is with the headphone sockets. I can’t really imagine that a sane company would manufacture hundreds or thousands of these units and have them ready for distribution, then a week before the release date suddenly hold them back for ‘remanufacture’...

A good move by ifi. It’s bound to be of good quality especially at its price range. Take any mention by ifi of a release date with a pinch of salt though. Ifi have great value for money audio products, but their record of broken promises regarding release dates has become something of a joke...
