I disagree. I am using my Beyerdynamic 770 pro 250 ohm with them and they work blissfully at nowhere near full volume.

I tested the OnePlus Two I bought recently with my Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro and they are REALLY loud when I increase the volume to max.
The only OCD part I find myself guilty of in that regard is keeping my music collection tagged and named properly.
